it just didn’t feel very family-friendly to me. I wouldn’t really recommend it if you’re going with kids.

I was hoping for something that tasted a bit more authentic, but this came off like fake, wannabe food. The flavors felt super artificial, like some low-effort knockoff version of the real thing. Not something I’d buy again...

The food itself was fine, but my order was wrong again. I think this happened last week too, or maybe the week before, but either way it’s getting frustrating. They forgot the sauces and gave me the wrong side, which is annoying when it keeps happening

The food was decent, like not bad at all, but I definitely expected a little more for what I paid. The portions felt on the smaller side, and once you add a drink or an extra side, the total jumps up quickly.
I reached out to support because I felt like maybe I was missing something, but the response kind of made me feel like it was my fault for expecting more. I don’t mind paying extra when it feels worth it, but this just didn’t really hit that mark for me.

I ordered from Choolaah i was disappointed. For what I paid, I expected something that actually tasted fresh. The chicken was dry, the rice seemed like it had been sitting out for a while, and the veggies were kind of limp. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but it definitely wasn’t the meal I was hoping for.

I was kind of hoping for more vegetarian options, but the choices felt limited to me. What I tried was okay, I guess, just a little bland, and I left still feeling a bit hungry.

I checked in from the parking spot, and somehow still I ended up waiting almost 30 minutes. When the food finally came out, it was already cold, which was frustrating. Curbside here again, I don’t think I’ll be doing

So... I went to Choolaah hoping it would be a easy place to find something gluten free, but it ended up being more confusing than I expected.
The menu had a little bit of info, which helped some, but I still couldn’t really tell what was actually safe or what might have cross-contamination risk. The staff were nice, but I didn’t feel like I got a super clear or confident answer.
If you just prefer gluten free, it might be fine, but if you actually need to avoid gluten for health reasons, I’d be cautious. I left feeling frustrated

I didn’t really enjoy the chutneys at all. They tasted watery and kind of weird, like they weren’t fresh. adding them felt unnecessary because they just made the food worse instead of better

I ordered takeout and felt disappointed when I got home. The food was already cold, one of the items was missing, and the flavors just didn’t taste right to me. I know takeout isn’t always perfect, but for what it cost, I was really hoping it would feel worth it. Instead, it just left me frustrated and kind of let down. I ordered from Choolaah the portion size kind of annoyed me. Like, I wasn’t expecting a mountain of food or anything, but the bowl looked seriously underfilled.

For the price, I feel like there should’ve been way more in there. The meat was basically just a few pieces, and the sides barely made it look like the container had been filled. Why are we paying full meal prices for snack-size portions?
The taste was fine, so that’s not even my complaint. But if I finish a bowl and I’m still hungry right after, that’s a problem. Probably won’t order again if this is what the normal serving looks like...

I tried placing a pickup order through choolaah.com, and the site was kind of fighting me the whole way haha. It kept lagging while I was adding things to my cart, and even though checkout eventually went through, my pickup time changed after I paid, which was frustrating.

I really wanted to enjoy this, but the whole meal just ended up being kind of stressful for no reason. I’ve been to Choolaah a few times now, and it feels like it only works when it wants to. One visit will be totally fine, then the next time the food is cold or the portions are weirdly different. It’s just too inconsistent, so it’s getting hard to trust that I’ll have a good experience there.
